We are pleased to announce that Jerome Courenq is now endorsed by Mayones guitar/bass !
Jerome: "You open the case, full blast in your face. Gorgeous stringed instrument, amazingly meticulously detailled, once plugged...magic happens, the Holy sound is easily found. It's rich, deep, accurate and powerful at the same time. It fits perfectly the way I play, total osmosis. I'm really proud to be a part of Mayones !"
November 16, 2009 During their trip to Marseille, last saturday for a show at Musicomania, the band Lightseekers got in a car accident.
Cars totaled and some injury for a couple of members, the band will be off duty for at least 2 months, hoping they'll get back in shape quickly. The band would like to thank all those who supported them during this first and difficult week, and those who will think of them reading these lines. Thanks a lot for your support and see you soon on the stage! Lightseekers.

New band, new pictures. We took some really nice photos in the fabulous Hôtel des Ateliers de l'Image. The complete lineup was directed and photographed by Stef de la Vega, who did a fantastic job! We will share these pictures with all of you really soon.
On September 19th, the whole band gathered in the famous ****Hotel downtown Saint-Rémy de Provence, France, for our first photo shoot. The place is known for its involvement in pictural arts, photography and cinema. After only three hours of the sleep for the luckiests and less for the rest, we spent all day wandering the rooms, halls and elevators of the place. Stef de la Vega was assisted by Romain Dutourné and Blaise Thirard and our favorite staff as always - thanks to everyone.

Biography
Finding greatness in all things small, the Lightseekers are making some noise with the release of their first album, giving away only a hint of their ambition. “I was smacked in the face. Melodic hard rock of great quality, polished songs, superb melodies,” says Eric Pluto from Hardrock 80 magazine.
In the early 2000's, lead guitarist Pat Clapier (founder and composer for the band) was playing with his friends Stephane Nicolas (drums), Frederic Geai-Schmitt (guitar) and J-C Duvivier (vocals) in a cover band called Full Cover Rage. In 2004, when the band began to write its first songs, Pat Clapier met David Shabtai who was then playing and producing music for himself and others in the same small country town in southern France. The pair took a few months to produce the album on their own, with no money, working late and tiresome nights, as everyone had a regular job to deal with. It was only in the fall of 2005 after a year of hard work that the first album was mixed and done.
For a couple of months, the band rehearsed for their February 2006 showcase, which turned out to be a success: the Lightseekers gathered over 700 people at a small venue, unexpectedly selling hundreds of merchandising items and signing autographs for 3 hours. However, the band abruptly learned the following week that their lead singer and lyricist would be permanently leaving for Japan. After a six month slump, David and Pat were finally introduced to rising Brazilian singer Gus Monsanto. From January to June 2007, everyone worked hard to re-record the album, revamp the sound and write new arrangements and songs with Gus and new bassist Jerome Courenq. During that year, they produced a promotional music video and recorded a private acoustic concert to reveal another side of their musicianship.
In the summer of 2008, the band finally unveiled their unstoppable potential as an electric live act as they gathered a large audience at a very uncomfortable opening time: “In 9 songs, the Lightseekers conquered a big part of the audience with their powerful, melodic tunes, leaving only one desire: seeing them again,” writes Guillaume Senentz for Seigneurs du Metal. Thoughtful lyrics, beautiful melody, strong imagery and audience-moving live experiences are for the moment only showing a fraction of the energy and passion the guys have been accumulating over the past four years, in giving life to their name.
With the release of their first album Flying Free in November 2008, the best is yet to come. They're the Lightseekers, here they come.
